Sandra Bullock life still yields incredible surprises to many who have been covering the unbelievable Oscar curse as yet another woman who recently won the Oscar also received the “prize” news that her husband was cheating on her. The surprises continued for days and weeks as the other woman turned out to be shockingly classless and then Bullocks soon to be ex-husband was found to share a penchant for posing as a nazi on camera just like his “Bombshell” mistress.
The paparazzi and the celebrity media thought they knew it all until Sandra was interviewed for People magazine. In the magazine she speaks about her pending divorce and her adopted baby boy.
The baby, whose name is Louis (pronounced Lew-ee) Bardo Bullock, was born in New Orleans. Bullock told PEOPLE she chose that name because she heard Louis Armstrong’s song “What A Wonderful World” playing in her head when she first saw him.
Bullock told PEOPLE she didn’t want the baby pulled into “the awards season energy” and after she brought him home she kept virtually all visitors out of her home, including stylists and make-up artists working with her for the awards.
Discreet is also Bullock’s M.O., when it comes to her divorce from Jesse James. Though papers were filed April 23 in Austin, Texas (where she sometimes resides), records weren’t uncovered until late Wednesday, thanks to a clever move on Bullock’s part. Instead of using her name, Bullock filed the papers under “B.A.S” — her initials, backwards. As family law attorney Daryl Weinman told People, “I’ve never seen anything like that before. It’s clear that Sandra is seeking as private a divorce as possible.”
